Teaching Compassion HOW?

When children are ~taught~ to be mean uncompassionate bullies, their future is in danger…. Both here on earth, and in eternity… Most parents don’t think, some don’t care, and some do it on purpose… But IT IS Done… BY, talking down on others in front of little ones… Training your own child up as being high up in the world, teaching them to look down on others… I knew a beautiful little girl once that had such a humble sweet, Christ like attitude, BUT her parents decided that she was beautiful in the world and started putting her in beauty contest… Well, one win, it went to her head and the sweet little girl became a haughty, better than thou untouchable person over night, looking down her nose at others, with an attitude that was hurtful to her peers as well as anyone she came into contact with.…
I knew a sweet little boy, innocent smile that was such a loving child, but his parents taught him to hit everybody he met, by socking him all the time to toughen him up.. Don’t take no stuff, ball up your fist and just hit them… and immediately the child became an angry hateful child that hit you with his little fist rather run up to give you a hug… NOW! IS this the picture of children raised in God’s House of Worship? How often we , or allow teachers to mold our children into despicable young adults who become rebellious at every thing, including Christ. OH, we teach them Jesus loves you, BUT we don’t teach them that their attitude must reflect that ~Love~ of Christ that *IT* can and ~MUST~ be shared with others… We fail to teach them that Jesus ~Must~ be reflected in everything they do, OR their claiming to ~~LOVE~~ Jesus becomes just a hollow echo across the pit of destruction….. We must teach them to put that LOVE into action, not just give IT lip service… AS Jesus warned!
(Mark 7:6)… “Well, hath Esaisa prophesied of you hypocrites, AS IT IS Written, ~this people honoureth Me with their ~lips~, but their heart IS far from Me.”
“COMPASSION”! How many examples of compassion did Jesus set forth as example for us to follow as He walked this earth among men? Jesus Said of His Father and ours:
(John 5:37).. “The Father HIMSELF, which hath ~sent~ Me, hath borne witness of Me… Ye have neither heard HIS Voice at any time, ~NOR~ Seen HIS Shape..” &
(John 6:46) .. “Not that ~~ANY~~ man hath seen THE Father, save (but; except) He which IS OF God, He hath seen THE FATHER.”
(John 14:9) .. “He (anyone) that hath seen Me (Jesus Christ) hath seen The Father; (Jehovah) and how sayest thou then, Shew us The Father?”
Jesus was teaching a very important lesson in these verses… TO us ~ALL~! IF we walk in God’s Will and Way, according to the path that HIS Son Jesus Christ walked while He was on this earth among men, then others can and will see, both the Father and the Son in us, in our actions, our manners, attitudes, life styles… How many of us fail and fall pitifully short in this walk, while setting example before our children as a pattern of ~behavior~?
(Matthew 9:36).. And in many other scriptures Jesus showed ~~Compassion~~, *NOT* attitude, bullying, poking fun, laughing at, hitting, ect.. To others… DO we Follow His Example?
“When He (Jesus) saw the multitudes (of people), He ~was~ moved with *Compassion* on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd…
(I John 3:17) .. But whosoever hath ~~This World’s Good~, and seeth his brother have a need, and shutteth up his bowels of ~Compassion~ from him, *HOW dwelleth the *LOVE* OF God in him?
When we see someone that is afflicted, and we laugh and poke fun in front of our children, we ARE NOT teaching them compassion, but to be bullies, hurtful to the already existing pains of others… Funny? I think NOT! How many children have been driven to suicide or murder because, they have been the object of other children poking fun at them… Whose hand IS this child’s blood on? The person or persons who were in charge of watching over them!
(Ezekiel 33:6).. BUT, *IF* the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; *IF* the sword come, and take a person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; BUT his ~blood~ will *I* (JEHOVAH) Require at the watchman’s hand…
Our children Will be taken in their own sins, but when we stand before that Great White Throne of Judgment, we will be judged for our lack of ~~Teaching~~ our children the compassion of Christ.. AS verified IN New Testament!
(I John 1:7) .. BUT *IF*, (so many folks overlook whether on purpose or loss of spiritual sight, the small two letter word *IF*, BUT *IT* carries a ~HUGE~ impact on our lives…) BUT *IF*, ~we~ walk (Where? In the world? NOPE!) *IN* the “LIGHT”, AS He (Jesus) IS The “Light”, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from ~all~ sin…. IF we are living in the world, bringing uncalled for hurt and pain to others, then the *IF* IS applied to the Blood of Christ…..
The ~hurt~ Not to be confused with holding true to God’s Written Word, because many will say, “Well you hurt my feeling because you told me what I was doing was wrong, and I’m just not gonna be your friend any more!” READ THE BIBLE to verify what has been said BEFORE, Feeling HURT! Hurt Feeling? For the LOVE OF God, IF The Truth IS Told, and The Gospel set forth, according TO AS IT IS Written, and a person’s feelings hurt for truth which they have rejected to follow the world, then you have still, as the watchman, warned them, giving exhortation unto them, and their blood IS NOT on your hands but theirs…..
(Ezekiel 33: 7a-).. Son of man, I (THE LORD) have set thee a ~Watchman~~ unto the house of Israel; (8b).. *IF* thou dost ~not~ speak to warn the wicked from his way, …his blood will I require at thy hand… (9a).. Nevertheless, *IF* thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from *IT*; *IF* he ~~DO NOT~~ turn from ~HIS~ way, he shall die in his iniquity; BUT thou hast delivered thy soul…. (11).. “AS *I* Live,” Saith THE LORD God, “*I* Have ~NO~ pleasure in the death of the wicked; BUT that the wicked ~~Turn~~ from ~~HIS~~ way and live!”
IT might surprise and annoy you to be told that to humiliate, bully, or poke fun at others IS *Iniquity* BUT IT IS: Because *Iniquity* IS: a great ~Injustice~ which is a Sin, and Sin IS: an ~act~ that goes against Christian principles… That being AS Christ taught. Sin, the act of Disobedience: Disobedience to God’s Will and Way IS ~Iniquity~ before God’s eyes….
When we have allowed our children to bully or poke fun at others and turned our heads with a little giggle at how cute it was, we are in deeeep trouble eternally, as well here in our fleshly life, Because, this behavior Will, carry on into adult hood and get our children into ~~Trouble~~ with others, the law, maybe even prison, or bring them to death by the offended person.. OH, parent, OH teacher, what on earth have we done? Let our children down miserably! Don’t fail our little ones teach ~them~ God’s Written Word of Guidance, and TO Follow IT in Jesus way, please… To be called ~~Wicked~~ which means: among other things ~mischievous~ just a little playful, should make one stop and think about what they are doing, not to please the one giving the advice, BUT to please our Heavenly Father……
(Psalm 145:8).. THE LORD IS Gracious, and Full OF *Compassion;* slow to anger, and of ~Great Mercy~… ARE WE?
