Biblical Warnings OF Falling Away

(I Peter 4:8)… *IF*… ~the righteous~ ``scarcely`` be saved; where ~shall~ the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(Jude 1:5)… I will put you in ~remembrance~ of this…though you once ~knew~ *This*.. How that THE LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not….
(I Corinthians 10: 1)…Paul said: “I would not have you ignorant, how that ~all~ our fathers were under the cloud, and ~all~ passed through the sea:” .. (v.3-4)..AND did all eat the *Same* Spiritual food & did ~all~ drank ~OF~ that ~Spiritual~ *Rock* that followed them; & That *Rock* was Christ… BUT! (v.5-6).. But with many of them God ~WAS NOT~ well pleased: FOR they were overthrown in the wilderness… NOW!.. ~~These Things~~~ WERE our *Examples*, TO The *Intent*, we should ~NOT~ lust after evil things, as they also lusted.. AND WHAT DID THEY DO?
(Ephesians 2:7-9)…By grace are ye ~Saved~ not of yourselves : *IT IS The Gift * OF God: NOT of works lest any man should boast.. For ~we~ ARE HIS workmanship, created IN Christ… *UNTO* ~Good Works~… ~~WHICH God hath before *Ordained* That we Should Walk *IN* Them….
We cannot do any good work of our own that will bring salvation to ourselves, FOR IT IS ONLY Through Christ that we are saved… BUT we are saved TO Good works and *IF* we don’t maintain those good works, Which God set before, which IS: Obedience TO HIS Will AND Way, Faithfully Believing, THAT HE IS ALMIGHTY, Bowing before God with fear and trembling, Then God WILL turn us over to the one that we seek to follow…the one we deceitfully cast our eyes toward.. WHICH IS Why we must Preach Truth, and Truth Alone so as not to mislead anyone…
(Romans 10:8-10) … “The *WORD* OF *Faith*… which we ~preach~.. That.. *IF* thou shalt *Confess* with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and *Believe* IN thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be ~Saved~…” (TOO Many Pastors Stop here and don’t bring forth the rest)… *FOR*… (Because *IF*)… “~With the heart a man *Believeth* unto Righteousness; and with the mouth ~~Confession~~ IS made unto **Salvation**…
Paul showed us that we indeed do have a requirement, an action that must be implemented on our part…. *IF* we would be saved” …… AND **Remain** Saved… FOR Just as The Example THAT IS Written for us of The Israelites that God Saved, out of Egypt, by the blood of the sacrificial, lamb through their obedience of belief and faith IN God’s Word, led by the, cloud… “*IF*, we stay IN the Rock, that followed them we are safe, *IF* we step out of that Rock as did the Israelites, and look back to the land of Egypt, making an image of their god, and eating dancing and being merry in the world, Christ will overthrow us today and let us wander in the desert of Satan’s world….. Jesus said: To HIS Father: “those that Thou gavest Me I have kept”… (HOW Did He Keep Them?) .. “IN THY NAME”… (John 17:12)… Not in the name of pagan celebrations… BUT In the Father’s Name BY:.. (v14)… “I, (Jesus) ~HAVE ~ *Given* them THY (God The Father) Word; and the world hath hated them, BECAUSE they *ARE NOT* of the world , ~Even AS I ( Jesus ) am not of the world)~…
Christ did not suffer and die that we could live freely in sin following the traditions of a lost and dying world, BUT that we could be free from that sin… IT IS Today, just as IT WAS In the very beginning, we are still ~Required~ to: “OBEY” God’s Will and Way, NOT HE our own!
(Acts 11: 11-15)… Peter Said: “the spirit ~Bade~ me go with them… and he showed us how that he had seen an ~angel~ in his house which bade him send men to Joppa, to a man named Peter… *** Who, ~SHALL~ tell thee ~~Words~~, whereby thou and thy house ~Shall Be *Saved*…. (NOT that any of the words that we can preach or speak has any more healing power than the works that we do, BUT!… That the words that were spoke, the message delivered, the Bible taught in Truth, *WILL* lead ones to grow IN: A Belief, Developing Faith, Rendering Obedience TO: AND Being Led by The holy Spirit, humbly Confessing that Jesus Christ IS The Son, OF God The Father which IS: The Requirement BY Which we may be Saved IN Jesus Christ…
(Luke 18:42)… Jesus SAID:… “thy *Faith* hath *Saved* thee” ….
Jesus didn’t pick this person up and say, you are saved, He doesn’t pick us up and out of the mire of this life and just automatically save us…. God The Father *WILL* call us out, *Draw us to HIS Son, Jesus Christ, and send warning, By The Holy Spirit, But *IF* we can’t take our eyes OFF of the world, then He will let us go right back into it… Just as HE Did the Israelites…
HE led them out of the bonds of Egypt, by HIS Son Jesus, they were ~*Saved*~… ~BUT!~ they did not want to retain God in their thoughts, heart, and mind, they wanted to return to the ~~Ways~~ of the worldly Egyptians….
Being saved by ~Grace~ : (which IS: ~Being In God’s Favor~) … Requires something, in fact a lot on our part, and yet when compared to the burdens put upon us of the world, by the world, and in the world to make a living, maintain our health, our lives and lives of our fleshly families, *IT* *IS* a very, small, simple thing that God ~~Requires of us~~ in order to be saved, and maintain that ~~Salvation~~ (being delivered from sin through Jesus)…AND gives us a better walk through this this life as well as gives us HOPE of life eternal in heaven… . & *YES*, *IT IS* our responsibility to *Maintain*… Preserve our walk with and in Christ Jesus, God’s Only Begotten Son… He ~WILL~ hold to us, only *AS* long *AS* we hold to Him… *IF* we start to cast hungry looks out into the ways of the world, seek refreshment in pagan cultures, set up our own traditions, or seek to adopt the customs of the heathen nations, ~THEN~ He * WILL * ~Turn~ us over to the things that our hearts desire……
HOW DO WE preserve our walk with and in Christ, *IF* we are not saved by works, BUT by Grace? HOW Was Noah Saved?…. BY *FAITH*… At any time Noah could have given up and said this IS TOO hard for me, I am alone in the world, there IS NO `Crowd` to run with, I want to be popular, I want to spend my time having fun, I am tired of doing this hard work… and what would have happened? Read: (Genesis 6:6)
(Mark 16: 15-16) ..Jesus Said: “Go ye into ~~ALL~~ the world and ~Preach *The Gospel* TO Every creature… He that ~~Believeth~~ and IS Baptized, shall BE Saved;…. BUT he that believeth ~Not~ shall be damned”….
He didn’t say go out and party with the world and draw them in to a party in their honor IN ~~The House Built to Assemble ourselves together to Praise The LORD a one body~~, and all will be saved…. AND He did not say that our own salvation would be maintained in doing these things but: AS IT IS Written, AS Paul said:
( Philippians 2:12 )… “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”…
(Luke 8: 12) .. Jesus SAID, in a warning parable: .. “Those by ~the Wayside~… *ARE* they that *HEAR*, ~THEN~ cometh the Devil, AND ~Taketh~ The *Word* ~OUT~ of their hearts,…(WELL, TO take something *OUT* *IT* must have been *IN*) (WHY?) lest ~they~ should *BELIEVE* and be saved…” ( Once we *Believe*, we must continue TO *Believe*… ) This IS the True message that should be preached to the people, Instead of ~Once saved Always Saved~…
Just as in the days of Job, the Devil, can’t take us out of Christ hand, but he can deceitfully lure us away *IF* by God’s Permission he IS Allowed to tempt us… and he IS: as long as these last days are being fulfilled…..
(Psalm 95:8)… Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, & as in the day of ~temptation in the wilderness… (We are living in the days of temptation as in the wilderness today, this time of wandering, waiting, for ~The Promised Land) & Jesus Warned: & He gave us instruction as to ~How we could and should ~Protect ourselves against losing our salvation….
(Mark 14:38)… “Watch AS Well AS Pray, lest ye enter into ~~Temptation~~… The spirit truly IS ready, but the flesh IS weak….” (IT IS against principalities that we fight, not flesh and blood) (Ephesians 6:12)… (So *IF* we allow the beam of the principle of our salvation to be shattered by the spirit of darkness, in the lust of the fleshly eye, we strengthen the evil and weaken the spirit of obedience.. Within ourselves…)
And Christ gave us warning of these things, we gotta seriously pay attention… Many folks even in the Churches act as thought this is ~ALL~ a big joke…poke fun at it, make stand-up comedy of IT, ~Entertainment~ in the world… But when Jesus was being beaten, spit on, mocked, cursed, and when He hung on the Cross for our deliverance from sin… IT WAS NOT A JOKE!… IT WAS NOT FOR FUN!… IT WAS out of ~LOVE~ for us!! NOW, How do we show our ~Love~ for Him?
In our earthly relationships, how many times have you told your spouse, you don’t love me, because you never pay any attention to me… You don’t treat me right, because you are always poking fun at me in public…. YOU, hurt MY Feelings, when you look at someone else with ~Lust~ in your eyes, and you flirt with them, and *IF* you don’t stop, then you can have them, because ~I am through with you~….. Consider this as you read the Biblical warnings of: Being Saved and Maintaining our own salvation, BY continually walking IN & BY Faith, BY Believing IN The Father, HIS Son, Jesus Christ, AND The Holy Ghost, The THREE That ARE A DEVINE UNIT OF ONE……
