God Does give ~everyone~ an opportunity, a chance to enter into HIS Kingdom… IT hurts my heart to hear folks say, “If you are not ~one~ of the chosen then you are doomed, because you have ~NO~ choice but to reject Jesus”.. Here you are making God INTO a liar and a promise breaker as Peter Wrote differently:
(II Peter 3:9)… The Lord ~IS NOT~ Slack Concerning HIS Promise, AS Some men count slackness; BUT IS Longsuffering to usward, ~~NOT Willing~ That ~~ANY~~ Should perish, BUT That ~~ALL~~ should come to repentance….
What ~Example~ Did THE LORD show of The Lesson of Jonah?… Many people read this book as ~ALL About Jonah in the belly of the whale~ .. BUT : The main lesson IS: By God sending Jonah which did rebel at HIS Calling, but by punishment Jonah came around, turned about and went an preached to Nineveh.. As a result of his preaching what God bid him , the people turned around and believed .. (3: 10) AND God saw their works that they turned from their evil way, AND God repented of the evil that HE had said that HE would do unto them….
AND That IS NOT What Jesus SAID!
(Luke 11:28-32) … “Blessed ARE They That ~~Hear the word of God, and Keep~~ *IT*”.. “an evil generation that seeks a sign.. No sign given but the sign of Jonas… For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall the Son of man be to this generation…the men of Nineve shall rise up in judgment of this generation and condemn IT for they ~~Repented~~ at the preaching of Jonas, and one greater than Jonas IS Here…
(Mark 1:15) … “The ~Time IS Fulfilled~, and The Kingdom OF God IS AT Hand; Repent ye, and believe the Gospel…”
Why would Jesus even preach the message of ~Repentance~ *IF* He CHOOSES Some to Live and some to die and IT IS Cut and Dried, no one has a choice?
Do you not recall His Words IN: (Matthew 7:11 - 27) Read IT ALL Carefully and see IF our fate IS sealed By Jesus Words OR IF He gives to ALL a Choice TO enter in BY The ~Strait Gate~? AS IT IS Written: (v.11) *IF* ye being evil know ~how to Give Good gifts unto your children.. How Much MORE shall your ~~FATHER~~ which IS IN Heaven give good things unto them ~~That ASK~~? (v. 21).. “NOT Everyone that saith Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven” … (BUT WHO WILL?) “But he that doeth ~~THE WILL OF:~ My Father which IS IN Heaven” ..
How are we called? How are we Chosen? How do we fall short of the Kingdom of Heaven?
The words written in (John 15:16) many misconstrue to mean that we have ~NO~ Choice.. That a Loving Father chooses some to save and some to destroy… BUT Jesus was telling the disciples that they did not ~Choose~ Him, BUT He chose them… They did not seek Him out, they did not come to find Him.. But He came to them… AND He came to others also…and called unto ~ALL~
(Luke 9:56 -62).. “For the Son of man IS NOT Come TO destroy men‘s lives, BUT TO save them.. As Jesus walked some came to follow Him, but had other things to do first… AND Jesus said.. “No man having put his hand to the plough, and looking back IS Fit for the Kingdom of Heaven”… Did these men have the choice to leave the world behind and follow Jesus, OR Did Jesus Make them look at the world?
Why DID God The Father Send HIS Son Jesus Christ INTO The World? To condemn some to death and choose some to live? Jesus SAID:
(John 3:17)… God sent *NOT* HIS Son into the world TO Condemn the World; BUT That the world ~~Through~~ Him might be saved”… WELL What Happened? (v. 18).. “He that ~Believeth~ on Him IS NOT Condemned: But he that believeth NOT IS Condemned ~~already~~.. BECAUSE, he hath not believed in the Name of The Only Begotten Son of God”.. There IS A Reason and a Cause OF ~ALL~ Effects, Results… AS IT IS Written.. IF there weren’t God would not have given Adam and Eve the ~~Choice~~ To obey or rebel.. To stay faithful in believing HIS Word of Command, or TO challenge HIS Power by seeking their own way, and so IT IS Today… WE have that choice, TO Faithfully Obey in the Belief of the Father, and The Son, OR arrogantly follow our ~Own~ way, which will be to our condemnation..
This sounds like a Loving Father that WANTS ~ALL~ HIS Children to repent and be saved… HE IS A Father That Knows our hearts, thoughts, and minds.
Yes HE Can change our ways by force, IF HE Sees a good heart inside…
BUT, TRUE TO HIS NATURE, HE Does give ~Everyone~ the opportunity TO Repent…
(Revelation 2:21).. I gave her space to repent of her fornication; AND she repented NOT..
EXCEPT The Evil that HE Created, which HE Will Destroy…
(II Peter 2:11-12) …But these as natural brute beast… shall perish in their own destruction..
OH, AND Peter… Was called and he was chosen. BUT How Did Jesus teach Peter of his own faults? Did Jesus give Peter the opportunity to repent OR did He seal Peter unto destruction because peter failed as Jesus Knew he would?
(Mark 14 30) Jesus Told Peter: “Verily I say unto thee, that before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny Me thrice”.. (v.72) the second time the cock crew, Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, (Then What DID he do? Keep on walking in this way in denial of Christ? OR)… When he thought thereon he wept….
And what OF the parable in (Matthew 21: 28 -32) .. Read IT and consider the lesson that Jesus IS Teaching here… IS IT That He chooses some to die and some to live, or that He gives us all room to repent and lets us make the decision of Whom we will spend eternity with? OR IS IT AS IT IS Written Jesus Said?
(Luke 10 25 - 28)… A certain ~lawyer~ stood up and tempted Him, saying, Master what shall I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus answered him, “What IS Written in the law? How readest thou?” .. And the lawyer answered.. “Thou shalt Love The LORD thy God with ~ALL~ thy heart, and with ~ALL~ thy soul, strength,, and mind, and thy neighbor as thyself… AND Jesus Said unto him:, “Thou hast answered right; this do and thou shalt live”…
God gives us a way to live.. HE Made a ~Provision~ That ~ALL~ May come to a knowledge of HIM and be saved…
(Luke 18:26-30).. Who then can be saved? .. “The things which Are impossible with man are possible with God.. These IS ~~no man~~ that hath left house… for the Kingdom of God’s Sake, that shall not receive manifold in this life and in the world to come life everlasting…”
(Luke 21:36) … “Watch and Pray, that ye may be accounted ~~Worthy~~ to escape the things that shall come to pass and TO Stand before the Son of man…..”
(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the Name of The LORD shall Be Saved… IF man can’t Believe this then what Hope IS There? AND IF man Can’t Believe That: AS Jesus Said: IN: (John 14:18).. I Will NOT Leave you ~~Comfortless~~… & (v.15). “*IF* you Love Me, Keep My Commandments”.. & “Except ye ~Repent~ ye shall likewise perish”.. (Luke 13:5).. Then what IS left for man to believe in, How can faith be attained and held, IF we are taught that we are already condemned to die because we are ~NOT Chosen~ and nothing we can do will change that? What Does God The Father think of This teaching?
(Matthew 12: 36-37) .. “Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account of in the day of judgment For by thy ~Words~ thou shalt be justified, and by they words thou shalt be condemned…
IF we take one verse and hinge the whole Gospel on IT and turn from the rest of AS IT IS Written we fall very short of the message that God Sends for us to learn, and share with ~~ALL~~ the nations of the world…. And live our life here on earth in corresponding harmony with.
